I currently use Obsidian for all my note taking and to edit the markdown articles that are rendered in this site.

I have a paid subscription so that I can use Sync to keep all my devices updated and be able to edit my vaults from anywhere but I don’t think I use Obsidian to its full potential yet. The ecosystem just seems to keep growing and growing.

I have recently started using a couple of community plugins: Smart Typography and Text Snippets. I use the former to replace quotes to curly quotes and, perhaps more importantly, simple dashes to em dashes — I use em dashes probably a bit too much. I use Text Snippets to expand from a word to a frontmatter template I can easily fill out, instead of having to copy/paste from other articles. These have definitely made my life easier.
